Ed Gurka began coaching at Packanack in 1977 and has now influenced several generations of Packanack Lake swimmers! The 2025 season will be Coach Ed's 49th year!

He is the William Paterson University Head Dive and Swim Coach, where he reached over 700 victories in 2016. Coach Ed coached the first sprinter in NCAA History to win the 50m, 100m, and 200m Freestyle during one National Championship Swim Meet.

I am Nate Gold I am 17 years old, finishing my junior year of high school. This is my second year as assistant coach. I have been on the swim team for the last 11 summers, making this my 12th year on the team.
